SUPPORTING EMOTIONALLY ENRICHING ACTIVITIES

Welcome to the Al & Joyce Vidbel Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to sharing the healing empathy created by the bond between humans and animals. Creating enriching programs inspired by our Founders' witness to the unique benefits, power and simple beauty that flows from the trust between humans and animals. 

Through your support you enable the Al & Joyce Vidbel Foundation to provide: 

  1. Adaptive programs and equipment for seriously ill and special needs individuals, their families and caregivers
  2. A spectacularly beautiful and healthy Catskill Mountain outdoor environment
  3. The compassionate support and inclusivity offered by our staff and volunteers

Committed to Sanctuary for All

The Al & Joyce Vidbel Foundation offers therapeutic programs conducted at the picturesque, mountainside farm and forest located in Windham, NY. Home to over 50 animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, goats and pigs, the farm has been in the Vidbel family for five generations. The foundation has created programs that enable positive interactions between visitors and our designated therapy animals that lower stress, open up new means of communication, and promote healing and well-being for all participants.
