Summer Programs
Connect on a regular basis
One of the most exciting and rewarding aspects of life here at the Al & Joyce Vidbel Foundation is the opportunities we get to interact with our community members on a more personal level. Learning about our visitors, listening to their stories, and introducing them to our animal family is a real privilege.
We provide a number of fun and inclusive activities for guests of all ages and abilities, and we’re always looking for innovative ways to connect our 4-legged residents with other animal lovers. Our summer programs enable regular visits for special audiences that match a human need to a specific nurturing animal. It is moving to see the exceptional benefits that a greater connection between animal and human can yield and that, over time, helps the human interact more comfortably with his or her world.
Program participants and visitors can help with daily farm chores, as well as special projects such as gardening, bathing animals, dog and pony walking, and providing special care for our rescue animals with special needs. In addition to this, we will carefully select an animal whose personality matches their human partner to create and build the perfect animal-human connections.
